Module Description:
The use of magnetic resonance imaging equipment presents some unique safety problems, There are several components in the MRI process: the static magnetic field, the gradient magnetic field and the radio frequency field. Each of these components has its own potential hazards. After completing the course, the learner will:
- Understand the basics of Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
- Understand the three components of the MRI process.
- Explore the contraindications of MR.
- Understand the process of screening patients and equipment.
