Module Description:
Audience: All medical professionals interested in learning about CT.
Prerequisites: It is suggested that you follow the order of the series.
This audio-visual/webcast presentation provided by Philips Medical Systems Clinical Education Department provides an overview of conventional CT generations, helical CT and its limitations, and terminology such as pitch and interpolation. This course will go over multislice CT and the student will gain an understanding of geometry, detector configurations, DAS acquisition and isotropic imaging. The advantages and disadvantages of helical CT and multislice CT will be reviewed. This presentation is given by Wilbur Reddinger, M.S., R.T., (R), (CT).
