Module: MR 03 - MR Basic Principles

Module Description: Audience: All health care professionals interested in learning about MRI. This is one part of a series to prepare you for the MR Registry.
Prerequisites: It is advised that you start by taking Parts 1 & 2.
This audio-visual/webcast presentation provided by Philips Medical Systems Clinical Education Department provides an overview of the basic principles of MRI including the effects of nuclei in a magnetic field and the mechanisms for acquisition of MR signal. This educational series is an excellent overview of MRI for those reviewing for the MR Registry exam or for those technologists wanting to review the basics. There are no prerequisites for this course. This presentation is given by Candi Roth, RT (R)(MR)(CT)(M)(CV) FSMRT Imaging Education Associates.
