The History of Cardiac Catheterization discusses the development and progression of Cardiac Catheterization from the 1800s to present. This module also illustrates many of todays common protocols used in routine Cardiac Catheterization procedures.

About the author:
Mr. Jackson is a Vascular Clinical Education Specialist for Philips Medical Systems, North America. His professional experience includes many years as a Radiologic Technologist in the hospital setting, performing vascular studies. He has since focused his interest on teaching the vascular modality to many Philips customers through the continental United States. He Jackson also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences and has recieved registery distinction in Computer Tomography, and Cardiovascular - Interventional.
