The purpose of this case is to illustrate some fundamental concepts of Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC). Radiographic features, epidemiology, genetic factors, histology, and tumor classification will be discussed.

About the author:
Dr Deshmukh is a graduate of Rutgers University and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. During her career she published a number of research papers for the Americal Journal for Radiology, American Journal Neuroradiology and In Vitro. Dr Deshmukh has traveled extensively, studying medicine in India, Costa Rica and Nicaragua and received numerous honors and awards for her work.
