This interactive learning module offers an in-depth look at the major components of the modern CT scanner. Describing three key elements — imaging system, computer and operator’s console — this interactive course explores the integral mechanisms of the complex CT apparatus and explains how the operator can affect the quality of each image. With colorful illustrations and easy-to-understand animations, the professionally narrated course engages participants in the learning process. Module 2 - Equipment and Instrumentation is the second in a series of 10 interactive modules encompassing all the topics found in ASRT’s CT curriculum. This class includes review questions and is suited for technologists interested in adding CT to their professional skill set. After successful completion of all 10 modules, participants will receive diplomas from the ASRT recognizing their achievement.
