Module Description: Audience: This interactive learning module presents the essential content needed to begin a career in computed tomography. With colorful images and easy-to-understand animations, the professionally narrated course engages participants in the learning process.

Covering the different methods of acquiring CT images, this course explains the function of the data acquisition system and the process of data acquisition. Exploring various techniques used to display images, this program describes how components of modern CT scanners construct images and how images are affected by selectable scan factors. With colorful illustrations and easy-to-understand animations, the professionally narrated course engages participants in the learning process. Module 3 – Data Acquisition is the third in a series of 10 interactive modules encompassing all the topics found in ASRT’s CT curriculum. This class includes review questions and is suited for technologists interested in adding CT to their professional skill set. After successful completion of all 10 modules, participants will receive diplomas from the ASRT recognizing their achievement.
